Akasa Air Announces Limited Jeddah–Mumbai Flights Till March 31 Amid Middle East Situation

Budget carrier Akasa Air has announced that it will operate select flights between Jeddah and several Indian cities including Mumbai until March 31, following a detailed safety review amid the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

The airline said the revised flight schedule has been introduced to ensure passenger safety while maintaining limited connectivity between India and key cities in the region.

Flights To Some Middle East Cities Suspended

While flights to Jeddah will continue with limited frequency, Akasa Air confirmed that services to Riyadh will remain suspended until March 14.

Flights to and from Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Kuwait City have also been temporarily suspended until March 15 as the airline monitors the evolving geopolitical situation.

Jeddah To Mumbai Flight Schedule

According to the airline’s official website, a single daily flight will operate between Jeddah and Mumbai from March 12 to March 15, departing Jeddah at 11:55 pm and arriving in Mumbai the next day.

From March 16 to March 31, the airline plans to operate two flights daily on the route, departing Jeddah at 9:45 pm and 11:55 pm.

However, the schedule indicates that no flights will operate between March 20 and March 26 on the Jeddah–Mumbai sector.

Mumbai To Jeddah Flight Schedule

Akasa Air has also released a limited schedule for flights from Mumbai to Jeddah on specific dates throughout March.

Flights are scheduled on the following dates and timings:

  • March 12: 7:20 pm
  • March 14: 7:10 pm
  • March 15: 5:20 pm and 7:10 pm
  • March 16: 5:20 pm
  • March 17: 5:20 pm and 7:10 pm
  • March 18: 5:20 pm and 7:10 pm
  • March 19: 5:20 pm and 7:10 pm
  • March 20: 4:30 am and 5:20 pm
  • March 21: 4:30 am
  • March 28: 4:30 am and 5:20 pm
  • March 29: 5:40 pm
  • March 31: 4:35 am and 5:40 pm
