Sneh Asha Foundation Celebrates Ganeshotsav With Mumbai BMC School Students

Students, educators and Foundation members come together for a meaningful cultural celebration

Sneh Asha Foundation organized a Ganeshotsav celebration that brought together scholarship students, educators and representatives from several Mumbai schools. The event gave students an opportunity to connect beyond their regular classrooms while celebrating the festival in a welcoming community environment.

Ganeshotsav Creates Space for Student Connections

The celebration brought students and educators from different school communities together for a shared cultural experience. The gathering encouraged interaction, self-expression and participation, allowing students to connect with peers outside their usual academic surroundings.

Cultural activities, conversations and festive celebrations created an informal setting where students could share their interests and experiences. The event also strengthened the sense of community among students associated with the Foundation's scholarship programs.

Students Showcase Cultural Talent

Students took part in cultural and dance performances during the celebration. Sneh Asha Foundation Founder and Chairperson Mrs. Siddhi Chauhan Jaiswal encouraged the students to participate and interacted with them about their education, interests and future aspirations.

These conversations gave students an opportunity to speak openly about their experiences while allowing the Foundation team to understand their interests and goals beyond their academic programs.

Ganesh Aarti and Community Meal Bring Everyone Together

The celebration included a collective Ganesh Aarti, followed by prasad distribution and a community meal. Students, principals, school representatives, educators and Foundation members participated in the festivities, reflecting the spirit of togetherness at the heart of the event.

Foundation Trustee Parthi Dhawale also attended the gathering along with members of the Foundation team and representatives from participating schools.

Building a Stronger Student Community

The Ganeshotsav gathering highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for students to interact, celebrate and build relationships outside the classroom. For children connected through the Foundation's scholarship programs, the event provided a common platform to participate in cultural activities and become part of a wider community.

The celebration also reflected Sneh Asha Foundation's broader focus on supporting students through education, guidance and opportunities that contribute to their overall development.

About Sneh Asha Foundation

Sneh Asha Foundation is a Mumbai-based nonprofit organization founded by Mrs. Siddhi Chauhan Jaiswal and Miss Sneha Jaiswal. The organization works to expand educational opportunities for students from underserved communities through scholarships, digital education and guidance programs.

According to the Foundation, its initiatives have reached 17,500 students, including 15,000 through existing programs and another 2,500 students in Palghar. It has awarded 72 scholarships across four batches and equipped 54 schools with computer labs to support digital learning.

In four schools in Palghar, the Foundation also provides programs covering life skills, soft skills, financial literacy, career readiness and functional English. By working with schools, teachers and other stakeholders, the Foundation aims to help students continue their education, develop practical skills and work toward their future goals.
