Samsung Unveils Bespoke AI Home Experience Centre At Mumbai’s BKC Flagship Store
Samsung has officially launched its first Bespoke AI Home experience centre at its flagship store in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The showcase reflects the brand’s vision of an AI-driven, fully connected smart home where appliances anticipate user needs, simplify routines, and enhance lifestyles. Featuring refrigerators, TVs, ACs, ovens, faucets, and more, the ecosystem is powered by Samsung’s Galaxy AI, Vision AI, Bixby, and Bespoke AI working seamlessly through its SmartThings platform.
A Glimpse Into the Future of AI Homes
The Bespoke AI Home centre demonstrates how every Samsung device—from a fridge to a faucet—works in harmony. Controlled through a single SmartThings smartphone app, the setup highlights convenience, personalization, and sustainability. Visitors can experience how AI tailors cooking, cooling, entertainment, and water usage to suit their routines, while also saving time and reducing energy consumption.
Speaking at the launch, JB Park, President and CEO, Samsung Southwest Asia, said:
“Our three R&D centres in India are shaping exciting AI innovations here and taking them to the world. This launch reflects our deep commitment to shaping future lifestyles of millions of Indian families with meaningful and safer technologies.”
Bespoke AI Refrigerators: Smarter Kitchens
At the heart of the AI Home is Samsung’s Vision AI-powered refrigerators. These appliances go beyond cooling food—they manage it. By analysing stored items, the fridge suggests recipes tailored to dietary preferences and available ingredients. This feature not only reduces food wastage but also helps families plan healthier meals with ease.
AI-Driven Air Conditioners: Comfort Meets Efficiency
Samsung’s AI-enabled air conditioners take personalized cooling to another level. They monitor user habits, adjusting temperatures for better sleep, relaxation, and energy savings. The company also showcased its WindFree ACs, equipped with 23,000 micro-holes to distribute air gently without direct blasts. AI modes optimize cooling while cutting electricity costs—ideal for Mumbai’s humid climate.
AI TVs: Beyond Entertainment
In the Bespoke AI Home, the television becomes the central smart hub. Powered by Vision AI, Samsung’s TVs provide natural language interactions, personalized recommendations, and adaptive picture settings based on room lighting. Whether binge-watching a show or switching to a gaming mode, the AI-enhanced TV ensures immersive, custom experiences.
AI Microwave Ovens: Cooking Made Simple
Samsung’s Wi-Fi-enabled AI microwave ovens bring futuristic convenience to the kitchen. Integrated with SmartThings AI, they recommend recipes based on fridge inventory and personal preferences. The oven automatically adjusts cooking time and temperature for flawless results.
A standout feature is geofencing technology. This allows the oven to preheat when it detects the user approaching home, ensuring a hot meal is ready the moment they step inside.
AI Faucet: Smart Water Usage
Among the unique highlights of the AI Home is an AI-powered faucet. It intelligently dispenses precise amounts of water required for a recipe, eliminating guesswork and wastage. The faucet also regulates flow and pressure, aligning with Samsung’s push for resource-efficient living.
SmartThings: The Backbone of AI Living
What ties all these innovations together is Samsung SmartThings, the company’s connected ecosystem. The platform integrates appliances and partner devices into a unified network, controlled via one app. From switching on lights when a user arrives, to turning on laundry cycles, to adjusting AC modes as someone leaves home—SmartThings ensures effortless automation.
By combining AI with geofencing, personalization, and sustainability, Samsung positions itself at the forefront of India’s smart home revolution.
India at the Centre of Samsung’s AI Push
The launch in Mumbai reflects Samsung’s intent to tap into India’s growing demand for intelligent appliances. With property sizes shrinking in metros and busy lifestyles creating demand for automation, AI-driven homes are no longer a luxury but an emerging necessity.
By showcasing an integrated model, Samsung not only introduces cutting-edge products but also offers a glimpse into the future of living—where homes think, act, and care for their residents.
