Panvel Municipal Corporation Starts Free Ayushman Card e-KYC Camps for Eligible Residents

Eligible Beneficiaries Can Complete Ayushman Card e-KYC at Municipal Health Centers

The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has started free e-KYC and Ayushman card registration camps for residents eligible under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) and Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).

The civic body has asked eligible residents to complete their e-KYC and obtain their Ayushman cards so they can use the healthcare benefits available under these government health schemes. The entire e-KYC and card generation process is being provided free of charge.

Free Ayushman Card Camps Held at Municipal Health Centers

To make the process easier for residents, PMC is organizing special Ayushman card camps at designated municipal health centers across the city. Eligible beneficiaries can visit the nearest center and complete their e-KYC with the required documents.

The Ayushman cards will be provided to beneficiaries after the physical cards are made available by the government.

The civic initiative is aimed at helping eligible families complete the required formalities and access healthcare benefits without unnecessary difficulty.

Cashless Treatment Available at Empanelled Hospitals

Beneficiaries covered under MJPJAY and AB-PMJAY can receive cashless treatment for eligible medical conditions and approved procedures at empanelled government and private hospitals.

The schemes cover various approved treatments, including surgeries and other medical procedures. For treatments included in the approved packages, eligible beneficiaries do not have to make direct payments at the hospital.

Under the scheme guidelines, the approved treatment expenses are settled directly with the empanelled hospital.

Documents Needed for Ayushman Card e-KYC

Residents visiting the camps should carry the necessary documents to complete the verification process. These generally include an Aadhaar card, a mobile number linked with Aadhaar for OTP verification, a ration card or family identity card, and required identification documents of family members.

Panvel Municipal Corporation has appealed to all eligible beneficiaries to visit their nearest municipal health center where the special camps are being conducted.
