MSRTC Launches 102 Daily e-Shivai Bus Services to Navi Mumbai International Airport
New Airport Bus Services Connect Dadar, Borivali and Pune With Direct Routes
The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) is set to launch 102 daily e-Shivai bus services to Navi Mumbai International Airport starting October 7. The new services will connect the airport with major locations including Dadar, Borivali and Pune, giving passengers a convenient and affordable public transportation option.
The initiative is expected to improve access to Navi Mumbai International Airport and provide travelers with an alternative to private cars and taxis.
Three Direct MSRTC Routes to Navi Mumbai Airport
The new e-Shivai services will operate on three key routes: Dadar to Navi Mumbai International Airport, Borivali to Navi Mumbai International Airport, and Swargate in Pune to Navi Mumbai International Airport.
Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik is scheduled to formally launch the airport bus services. The new routes are expected to support passengers traveling from different parts of Mumbai and Pune.
Dadar Airport Bus Service Starts Early Morning
The Dadar to Navi Mumbai International Airport service will begin at 5:30 am, with buses operating until 9:30 pm. The route will pass through Byculla and CSMT railway station before using the Atal Setu to reach the airport.
The fare from Dadar to Navi Mumbai International Airport has been fixed at Rs 170, giving passengers a direct and fixed-fare travel option.
Convenient Public Transport for Air Passengers
The new MSRTC airport services are expected to make airport travel easier for passengers carrying luggage or traveling with families. Direct bus connections can also help reduce the need for multiple transfers between local transport services.
Passengers from central Mumbai will particularly benefit from the Dadar route, as it will provide a direct road connection to the airport through Atal Setu.
Better Airport Connectivity From Mumbai and Pune
The launch of the e-Shivai services comes as authorities continue to improve road and public transport connections around Navi Mumbai International Airport. Direct bus services from Mumbai and Pune are expected to strengthen the airport's connection with major urban areas.
The new services will also provide a public transport alternative for airport employees, students, local residents and air travelers.
MSRTC Focuses on Safe and Reliable Airport Travel
Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik said the ST airport bus network will strengthen connectivity to Navi Mumbai International Airport and provide a safe and reliable option for common citizens, employees, students and air passengers.
With 102 daily services planned across three routes, the MSRTC e-Shivai network is expected to play an important role in improving public transportation access to the new airport.
