CM Devendra Fadnavis Praises BMC School Students for Developing Apps in Just One Month
Students at Sneh Asha Foundation’s Digital Lab Impress Maharashtra CM With Their Creativity and Technology Skills
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised students from a municipal school in Mumbai for their impressive technology skills and creative ideas after seeing applications they developed themselves. The students showcased their projects during his visit to the digital literacy lab established by Sneh Asha Foundation at Bhavani Shankar CBSE Municipal School in Dadar.
During the visit, one student presented an app developed independently. When Fadnavis asked how long it took to create the application, the student replied that it took just one month. The Chief Minister expressed surprise and appreciated the student's ability to turn an idea into a working application in such a short time.
He also interacted with other students, learned about their projects, and encouraged them to explore new opportunities in technology. Sharing the message, “Kar Lo Duniya Mutthi Mein,” he motivated the students to make the most of the opportunities offered by the digital world.
Student-Developed Apps Showcase Innovation and Practical Skills
Students at Sneh Asha Foundation’s digital literacy lab have created several useful applications by combining their ideas with technology. Three projects particularly caught attention during the Chief Minister’s visit.
- Terra 3D: This application allows users to explore a virtual representation of Earth and learn about different countries around the world.
- F.R.I.D.A.Y.: Designed around artificial intelligence, this app aims to make various computer-based tasks easier and more convenient.
- Cereal: This application has been developed to support office meetings and audio recording.
Yashraj Jadhav, Aryaman Jadhav, Samiksha Kontham, Akshara Bangar, Neel Badri, Ansh Patil, and Aarush Wangari contributed to the development of these applications.
Their work highlights how students can use technology to develop practical solutions while building creativity, problem-solving abilities, and confidence. The projects also demonstrate the potential of municipal school students when they receive access to digital learning resources and hands-on training.
Sneh Asha Foundation Promotes Digital Learning in Government Schools
Siddhi Chauhan Jaiswal, founder and president of Sneh Asha Foundation, welcomed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis during his visit to the school’s digital literacy lab.
She explained that the foundation provides students from municipal and government schools with opportunities to learn modern computer skills and apply their knowledge through practical projects.
Jaiswal emphasized that students from municipal schools can also achieve significant success in technology when they receive the right guidance and opportunities. She said the foundation aims to go beyond basic computer education by encouraging students to develop their own ideas, experiment with technology, and build confidence in their abilities.
She also noted that the Chief Minister’s interaction and appreciation had encouraged the students and boosted their enthusiasm for learning.
