The deadline was extended due to delays in the technical process and online verification of documents by MahaIT, along with the growing demand from prospective homebuyers.

MHADA Pune Lottery Draw Scheduled for December 4

Following the extension, the final draw for the MHADA Pune housing lottery will now take place on December 4, 2026. The extension gives interested citizens more time to complete the application process and resolve pending document verification issues before the deadline.

More Than 1.65 Lakh Applicants Have Registered

According to the available figures, 165,028 applicants have completed registration for the housing scheme. Of these, 111,811 applicants have paid the required deposit.

However, several applicants were facing delays because their domicile and income certificates had not yet been verified online by MahaIT. These delays created uncertainty for people waiting to complete their applications.

Taking note of the difficulties faced by applicants, MHADA extended the deadline to provide additional time for completing the necessary formalities.

Under the leadership of IAS Sanjeev Jaiswal, Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of MHADA, the authority continues to focus on improving housing services and making the application process more accessible to citizens. The extension is intended to give applicants additional time to complete the required steps amid technical and document verification delays.

MHADA Chief Officer Rahul Sakore clarified that paying the required deposit before the deadline is mandatory for applicants. Citizens who have not yet completed their applications should finish the registration, document verification, and payment process within the extended time limit.
