‘Saiyaara’ Box Office Collection Day 4: Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda’s Debut Film Eyes ₹150 Crore Milestone

Mumbai – Saiyaara, the latest romantic drama produced by Yash Raj Films, is turning out to be a box office blockbuster. Directed by Mohit Suri and headlined by newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film continues its golden run at the ticket window. By the end of Day 4, the Saiyaara movie has collected a staggering ₹105.75 crore in India alone and is now inching towards the ₹150 crore mark worldwide.

The movie, which released on a regular (non-holiday) weekend, surprised trade analysts with its massive opening. According to trade reports, Saiyaara collected ₹21.5 crore net on Day 1, and then maintained a strong grip through the weekend. On Day 4 (Monday), despite a natural dip of around 37.06%, the film still earned an impressive ₹22.5 crore net—higher than its opening day.

This brings the total 4-day domestic collection to ₹105.75 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing debut films ever in India.

To put things into perspective, Kabir Singh—a hugely successful 2019 film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani—earned ₹88.37 crore net in its first four days. In comparison, Saiyaara, despite being fronted by newcomers and released with fewer screens, has outperformed it in the same time frame.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh described the performance as “historic” and “unprecedented for a newcomer-led project.” On social media, he wrote:

“Saiyaara has crossed ₹80 crore in just three days – an unimaginable and historic achievement for a newcomer-led project. That too on a regular weekend. This speaks volumes.”
 

Saiyaara Movie Budget and Production

The Saiyaara movie was reportedly made on a budget of ₹60 crore, including marketing and promotional expenses. Despite a relatively modest investment compared to other big-banner films, it has already doubled its production cost within four days, marking a major success story for Yash Raj Films and the debuting star cast.

Globally, Saiyaara is approaching the ₹150 crore mark. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has done ₹117 crore gross worldwide in its first three days, which includes an impressive ₹17.25 crore from overseas markets. By Day 4, the worldwide earnings had reportedly crossed ₹119 crore, and projections indicate that it may cross the ₹150 crore milestone by the end of Day 5.

According to early Saiyaara movie reviews, the chemistry between Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, an emotional storyline, and a melodious soundtrack are resonating well with young audiences.
